Cane's momentum in 2014 continues to reach new heights. The DMV artist recently appeared on MTV's RapFix Live segment, Get In The Game. Calling in from his home studio, Cane played his video "Grassroots Tangent" for Sway and the hip-hop collective, Pro Era. Sway and Joey Bada$$ praised Cane for his lyricism, while everyone was impressed with the accompanying visuals shot by Mister Fili.

Getting his start in Frederickburg, VA, Cane, commonly known as the Don Draper of rap, has built serious momentum over the past few years. After his fans turned out in support of his race to open for DC’s ill-fated Rock the Bells, those in the industry began to take notice. During his appearance, Cane caught the ear of Statik Selektah, which led to multiple collaborations, including a spot on Statik’s latest album “Lucky 7,” where Cane was alongside the legendary Talib Kweli & Pro Era standout CJ Fly. Keeping up with the buzz, Cane dropped “Lou Cane”, a joint project w/ long time collaborator Lou Burna. Cane has made numerous appearances on SIRIUS XM Shade 45, as well as performing with artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, Rapsody, and headlining at DC’s historic Howard Theatre in 2015. Cane has performed shows at SXSW, and NY hotspots Webster Hall and SOBs. Gaining the attention of coveted sites such as XXL, The Source, 2DBZ, and more Cane has become a prominent fixture in DMV rap.
