Cane Visits Showoff Radio

Busy promoting the release of Citizen Cane, Cane checked in with Statik Selektah on Showoff Radio. The two discussed his upcoming album, their RapFix introduction, his grind, and influences. Cane spit a diabolical freestyle and hopped on the mic once more in a cypher with Boaz, Termanology, Illa Ghee, and more. (Stay tuned for that one!)

Cane - That's The Way

With Citizen Cane just around the corner, the titular citizen brings the first official release with "That's The Way." DMV's Don Draper aims to take the internet back and this groovy record is the first of many between the emcee and his right-hand producer, Lou Burna.

Cane - "Get Down" (prod. by Statik Selektah)

Ever since his appearance on MTV's RapFix Live, Cane has managed to come full circle. After catching the ear of Statik Selektah, the two came together for Cane's latest single "Get Down" Statik premiered the record on Showoff Radio and its internet presence quickly followed suit.

Last week, Cane and Statik performed together at Webster Hall and shot a video for "Get Down," which will be here sooner than later.

Cane Touches Down At SXSW & Webster Hall

In the span of one week, Cane touched down in Austin, Texas for SXSW then flew back to NYC to perform at Webster Hall.

While at SXSW, Cane performed at the Indie Life showcase with the likes of Twista, Skyzoo, and Torae. Not missing a beat, his return to NYC brought him to Webster Hall where he demanded the crowd's attention with a show stealing performance. With TDE's Ab-Soul looking on, Cane opened up for A$AP Ant and Joey Fatts.

Cane delivers the second installment to the Charles St. Chronicles with "Don't Let Go". During the segment, he opens up about the inspiration for the record, which came from a courageous story about a girl battling cancer during the prime years of her life.

Cane Performs In NYC At The Delancey

Cane took his talents to NYC last week and shut things down at The Delancey. Alongside his right-hand man/producer, Lou Burna, and the ridiculously talented, Vernon Strayhorn, Cane performed a medley of hits including his rendition of ASAP Ferg's "Shabba" and his ode to NYC rap legends with "Big".

Up next, Cane will head down to Texas for SXSW to take the stage at the Indie Life concert series where he will share the stage with the likes of Twista, Problem, Freeway, and Skyzoo. If you missed his NYC debut, he will be performing at Webster Hall on the 19th, headlined by A$AP Ant and Joey Fatts.

Cane Appears On MTV's RapFix Live

Cane's momentum in 2014 continues to reach new heights. The DMV artist recently appeared on MTV's RapFix Live segment, Get In The Game. Calling in from his home studio, Cane played his video "Grassroots Tangent" for Sway and the hip-hop collective, Pro Era. Sway and Joey Bada$$ praised Cane for his lyricism, while everyone was impressed with the accompanying visuals shot by Mister Fili.
